BOLD Capital Partners Research
Investment Thesis
BOLD Capital Partners is a venture firm founded in 2015 by Teymour Boutros-Ghali and Peter Diamandis, with offices in Santa Monica, California and Boston. The firm describes itself as seeking entrepreneurs and companies who share a fierce vision for a brighter tomorrow. It organizes its investing around two transformative areas: Health & Life Sciences, and Deep Tech & Productivity. The common thread is the convergence of the physical, digital, virtual and biological worlds, and a belief that exponential technologies such as AI, blockchain, sensors, VR and 3D printing will let entrepreneurs build better, more personalized products faster and at far lower cost.
In health and life sciences the stated areas of specific focus are longevity, patient-enabled health management, and synthetic biology as it impacts information technology. The firm argues that the intelligent collection and synthesis of data will drive advances in those fields. In deep tech the portfolio spans humanoid robotics, foundation models, spatial computing, space and aerospace, advanced manufacturing, wireless and enterprise infrastructure.
Stage Focus
The firm invests early, with third-party profiles describing Seed through Series A as the core and growth participation in later rounds for breakout companies (Figure AI, Liquid AI, Oura and Relativity Space are all in the portfolio). In 2023 the firm launched BOLD Longevity Growth, a separate growth-stage fund focused on longevity biotech and AI, run out of Boston. The website does not publish stage or check size, so these fields are held at low confidence.
Check Size
Not published. A third-party profile says the firm manages roughly half a billion dollars across its funds. No reliable per-check range was found, so none is submitted.
Lead Tendency
Unknown. The portfolio contains many names where BOLD is evidently a participant alongside larger lead investors, but the website does not say who leads.
Recent Activity
The homepage lists recent investments in Elara Spatial, Centivax, Near Space Labs, ProRata.ai and Aqtual. The portfolio also shows a 2026 addition, Hark. Tracxn reports three investments in 2026 as of September, with KeyCare among the latest. The firm is hiring an analyst for late summer or fall 2026, which suggests it is operating and deploying actively. Fund status is treated as actively deploying.
