F2 Venture Capital Research
Investment Thesis
F2 Venture Capital is an early-stage fund based in Tel Aviv that backs Israeli founders building B2B enterprise software. Its stated focus is cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence applied across industries, from fintech to cyber and beyond. The firm describes its edge as writing the first check ahead of the market, backed by a systematic in-house platform and a network of senior executive operators. Its slogan is "Power to Founders", and its stated core values are trust, boldness and efficiency, drawn from IDF Special Forces culture.
Stage Focus
F2 invests at seed and leads rounds with the first check. It also works with founders at pre-seed through its Operator Platform, which gives fast-track funding, customer introductions and access to senior advisers. It continues to support high-growth companies with follow-on funding over the long run.
Check Size
The website does not state a check size range. No check size is recorded in this profile.
Lead Tendency
The FAQ says F2 partners with founders "with the first check to lead rounds", so the lead tendency is recorded as leads.
Recent Activity
The site's insights section carries "why we invested" posts on Brava (security), Lema AI, Sett and Doti, plus monthly F2 News posts (April and June 2025). The pages found carry no verifiable dates, so events are recorded without dates. The firm states $500 million in assets under management and appears to be actively deploying.
Portfolio Highlights
The portfolio page names these companies: Astrix, 4M Analytics, Faye (travel insurance and assistance), Sett, Doti, Justt, Oriient, Zero Networks (microsegmentation), Darrow (AI legal data), Konona (games), QED Science, 257, Draftt, Breeze, Monocle, Shapes, Explorium, Voom (insurance), Regulus, Parametrix (insurance), Five Sigma, and Dreamteam. The page's links also show Brava, Lema AI, Dataloop and a Sugar Games page, but the logo captions did not name them, so they are not in the structured portfolio list. Alumni of The Junction, the platform F2's partners founded in 2011, include AppsFlyer, HoneyBook, CyberX, Darrow and 4M Analytics.

Decision Process
The process has five steps: a first meeting, follow-up meetings, meetings with industry specialists, an Investment Committee meeting, and a final decision. The general partners make up the investment committee and decide by unanimous vote.
Founder Preferences
The team is the most important factor. F2 also weighs market size, value proposition, technology and commercial validation, and says it takes pride in backing first-time founders.
Geographic Focus
F2 invests in startups out of Israel and is headquartered at Hagag North Tower, 28 Ha'Arbaa Street, Tel Aviv. Its sectors skew to cybersecurity, insurance technology, enterprise AI and data infrastructure, with a few outliers such as gaming.
Gaps
No check size, fund size breakdown or dated investment announcements were found on the site. A fuller portfolio sweep (Brava, Lema AI, Dataloop and others) would need a second pass with named company links.
