Galion.exe Research
Investment Thesis
Galion.exe is a Paris-based seed fund built by and for entrepreneurs. Its pitch is "a new breed of Seed fund" that brings founders the best resources from day one. The fund backs young tech startups building what it calls the things that shape cities today and tomorrow: intelligence, network and sustainability. In practice that means three buckets named on its site: smart tools that assist, automate or generate content (AI applications), platforms that connect apps or help data flow (infrastructure and developer tools), and solutions that improve health, well-being, people or the environment. It also says founders can "surprise us".
Stage Focus
Seed is the core stage, with some pre-seed and occasional smaller checks. The portfolio page tags companies from Pre-seed to Series B (the later rounds are follow-ons or later events at portfolio companies). Third-party profiles say the fund is focused on pre-seed and seed technology companies.
Check Size
The site states checks of 250K to 2.5M EUR in rounds of 1M to 10M EUR, and says it sometimes writes smaller checks. Some third-party profiles quote 700K to 2.5M EUR as the lead check range.
Lead Tendency
It leads or co-leads seed rounds. Press shows it leading Dialog's 4.4M USD seed (Nov 2025), co-leading Orq's 5M EUR seed with seed + speed Ventures (Dec 2025), and leading Lemrock's 6M EUR seed (Mar 2026). It took part in Reduck's 3M USD pre-seed led by Daphni (Oct 2026). Overall: both.
Recent Activity
- Oct 2026: participated in Reduck's 3M USD pre-seed (led by Daphni).
- Mar 2026: led Lemrock's 6M EUR seed for agentic commerce infrastructure.
- Dec 2025: co-led Orq's 5M EUR seed.
- Nov 2025: led Dialog's 4.4M USD seed, with Kima Ventures and Weaving Group.
- Sep 2026: search snippets report that the Galion.exe Origin fund is joining the 2050 platform, bringing 2050's assets under management to about 250M EUR across more than 70 companies. This was seen only in search snippets, not read on the primary page, so treat it as unverified.
The fund launched in 2022 with 30M EUR raised and a target of 60M to 80M EUR (TechCrunch, March 2022), planning about a dozen investments a year. The portfolio page shows Fund #2 and Fund #3 filters and a "Galion.exe Origin" tag on every company, and the site says the fund is still open to qualified investors.

Decision Process
Deals go through an investment committee that includes serial entrepreneurs, whom founders meet as part of the process. The site also describes an Entrepreneur Committee of four members, board partners (a seasoned entrepreneur who supports the founder during and between board sessions), and VC investors who help secure the next round.
Founder Preferences
Ambitious, daring, collaborative builders of moonshot companies. Values stated on the site: "Writing history together", "Learn. Grow. Share.", "Trust yourself. Trust others." and "Make it beautiful. Make it right."
Community and Value-Add
The Galion Project is a community of 400 to 600 plus founders, each of whom founded a venture that raised at least 1M EUR. The site says 41% now lead teams of more than 100 people. Offerings: tailored workshops, vetted playbooks and service-provider lists, and 100+ community events a year. Some community members co-invest alongside the fund. The firm also runs a blog called SOTA.
