AskFlorence exists because we lived this problem ourselves
AskFlorence exists because we lived this problem ourselves. For years, Healthcare.gov and traditional brokers made health insurance look impossible. We were shown prices like $960/month for plans that still came with terrible deductibles and weak coverage. We assumed that was just reality for self-employed people and families trying to do things the right way. It wasn't. The real subsidies were there. The affordable plans were there. The system just did a terrible job showing them. AskFlorence is named after Florence Nightingale, who carried light into broken systems and used data to reveal what was really happening. That's exactly the spirit behind what we're building. We use modern technology and AI to help people see the health coverage they may actually qualify for, including plans from $0-$7/month, $0 deductibles, and low copays that Healthcare.gov often fails to surface clearly. We are not trying to be another spammy lead-gen marketplace. We are building a better way for people to understand their options, see their real price, and get access to coverage that can genuinely change their lives. AskFlorence is consumer-first, transparent, and built to make affordable health insurance easier to find for freelancers, self-employed people, gig workers, families, green card holders, and anyone who has ever felt locked out by a confusing system. Healthcare is already hard enough. Finding affordable coverage shouldn't be.
