The way we manage directory listings for software products today is absurd. It cannot possibly be that a founder of an AI company or a marketer at a cyber startup has to manually log in to multiple portals, only to paste in their fresh product descriptions, multi-select features, and upload screenshots with (mandatory) captions. Yext and Uberall solved a similar problem for local businesses - business owners don't have to log in to Google Maps and Apple Maps and TripAdvisor, what have you, to update their address or respond to reviews - they do everything from a single dashboard. It's been like that for a decade. The category is called Local Listings Management. The same has to exist for software. So Blastra is building it. SaaS Listings Management that is. And it matters now more than it did before. Buyers research software across directories before they talk to sales. Analysts cite them. AI systems pull from them. A stale profile is a gap in the record. The companies managing their listings are the ones that show up.
