CaladanAI is financial operating software built for clinical-stage biotech companies
CaladanAI is financial operating software built for clinical-stage biotech companies. It reads CRO contracts, site budgets, change orders and invoices into tracked lines, ties them to the company's ledger and development plan, and forecasts the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow through to cash runway. Every figure traces to the contract, invoice or assumption behind it. Clinical trial finance is disconnected by design. CRO data lives in portals, actuals in the ERP, forecasts in spreadsheets and board decks in PowerPoint. Finance teams bridge those systems by hand (pulling data, reconciling accruals, rebuilding forecasts), not because they lack skill, but because no one has built tools that understand how clinical-stage finance actually works. We built CaladanAI so a changed assumption flows through everything. Modules include CaladanCore, TrialCast and VendorCast. We also run TrialCast Verified, a recovery audit of CRO invoices against the contract. No recovery, no fee. trialcast.ai Built by people who've done the work: Holly Lujan, co-founder, CFO and COO (fifteen years in clinical-stage finance); Jesse Lujan, co-founder, CEO and CTO (former Chief Product Officer at two enterprise software companies, and a decade of biotech experience); and Greg Curhan, Executive Chairman (CFO of multiple public and private life sciences companies). We're based in Portland, Oregon.
