Capability Host Protocol is building the infrastructure for the next generation of software
Capability Host Protocol is building the infrastructure for the next generation of software. Today's digital world is built around applications, APIs, cloud services, and isolated systems. As AI agents, edge computing, and distributed software become increasingly autonomous, these boundaries begin to break down. We believe the next layer of computing is built around capabilities. A capability may represent inference, storage, identity, payments, sensors, workflows, communications, manufacturing processes, or any service that can be securely discovered, composed, and executed. Capability Host Protocol provides an open protocol that allows capabilities to be published, discovered, negotiated, orchestrated, and operated across organizations, devices, clouds, and autonomous agents. Our vision is an ecosystem where capabilities become reusable infrastructure rather than isolated products. We are building the protocol, reference implementations, developer tooling, and hosting infrastructure that make this possible. Areas of focus include: * AI and agent interoperability * Distributed systems * Edge computing * Capability orchestration * Developer infrastructure * Open protocols * Enterprise integration * Digital infrastructure We're building in public and welcome conversations with researchers, developers, infrastructure companies, and organizations interested in the future of composable software.
