DeepMechanix is building the AI operating system for infrastructure engineering
DeepMechanix is building the AI operating system for infrastructure engineering. Every piece of critical infrastructure be it pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, piping systems or steel structures is designed using legacy desktop software unchanged in 30 years. The tools are trusted by regulators, but the engineering workflow around them is almost entirely manual: reading drawings, entering data, running calculations, formatting reports. We are building AI that automates this end-to-end, delivering 60-80% time savings while working on top of the tools engineers already trust. Our multi-agent platform combines document intelligence that reads large documents, P&IDs, engineering drawings with AI agents specific to specialized software like PV Elite, COMPRESS, HTRI, TANK, CAD, FEA, and ERP systems. We are live at pilot, publishing the first AI benchmarks for process equipment at ASME PVP 2026, and expanding across 15+ engineering tools serving 53,000-107,000 engineers globally. Faster, lighter, greener.
