Generative Alchemy is enabling the convergence of Materials and Manufacturing, by correlating the material microstructure with the manufacturing process to ensure results of the highest quality, by leveraging Artificial Intelligence. Generative Alchemy's approach is to bridge the gap between material composition, resulting microstructure, and the laser melting process, to yield the best quality components that meet the design requirements. We envisage a future state where Artificial Intelligence can generate new unique and bespoke material compositions that are specific to the end-use requirements, thereby realizing a materials-driven innovation strategy for Additive Manufacturing.
