Mostik is an AI research company. We build bridges that allow models to communicate and cooperate by exchanging the fullness of what they compute with each other as opposed to traditional methods that make them reduce what can be shared into text. To produce a single word, a language model builds around two megabytes of internal state. Then it emits about seventeen bits of that and discards the rest. Every system that connects models together today runs on those seventeen bits, because text is the only channel any of them has. We built a wider one. Hidden states from one model cross a small trained bridge, and the receiving model works with them directly. No text passes between them, and neither model's weights are touched. In our first result, a 4B model paired with a 753B model reading for it closes half the quality gap between them, at 2.5x less compute than a mid-sized model that scores the same. Both models stay frozen. Only the bridge learns. We are 15 people, including 12 PhDs, alongside a Fields Medalist. We came out of stealth in September 2026 and are backed by General Catalyst. If you serve models, run several open models in one product, or work on representation geometry and interpretability, we would like to hear from you. [email protected]
