Rate My Counselor is a platform designed to bring transparency to college advising by allowing students to share real experiences with counselors, departments, and academic support systems. Many students struggle with unclear guidance, limited access to advising, and delays that impact their ability to meet graduation requirements. We aim to solve this by giving students a space to share insights and help others make more informed decisions. Through early surveys and outreach, we've already collected 400+ student responses, with a large majority reporting challenges with advising. We are currently focused on building a moderated, anonymous review system and growing a community of students who want better visibility into the advising process.
