The camera roll is the new inbox
The camera roll is the new inbox. Flights, invoices, contacts, approvals, delivery notes: more and more work is captured as a screenshot, then left in a camera roll built for holiday photos. Intent gets forgotten, tasks get missed, and time goes on copying details from one app to another. Tray turns those screenshots into action. Hand a screenshot to Tray and it reads it on your phone, works out what it is, and with one tap sends the detail where it belongs: your calendar, your contacts, your CRM or Notion. When you need it again, it comes back on its own. Private by design. Text recognition and AI run on your phone. Nothing leaves it until you choose where it goes, and your screenshots are never stored on our servers. Built first for executive and virtual assistants, the people who hold everyone else's details. Tray was founded by Melissa Ribaira, who spent 18 years as an executive assistant and COO, and is built with Viviana Mendes (CMO) and Godswill Adigwe (CTO). Operators in our Seed-30 study report 10 to 30 work screenshots a week, and at least an hour a week processing them by hand. The private beta opens late 2026. Join the list at tray-it.com.
