Tutoring. The smart way.
Tugo Tutors runs weekly online maths classes for UK students aged 11 to 18, in groups of 6 to 8, each taught by a PGCE-qualified maths teacher. Families pay a monthly, termly or annual subscription. Most UK tutoring is one-to-one and booked through marketplaces, where many tutors are students or recent graduates and the price puts it out of reach for families who need it most. We run small groups taught by qualified teachers, at a price a family can keep paying for a whole year. Our software, the Tugo Teaching Assistant, makes that work at scale. It checks each student’s work during the lesson and flags who needs help, so one teacher can give six to eight students the attention a one-to-one tutor gives one. Every lesson follows the Tugo Method, a structure built on cognitive science research. New families start with a free trial lesson and a diagnostic assessment, which also places each student in the right group.
