Twenty Minutes sets up twenty-minute coffee chats between college students and professionals a few years ahead of them. A student answers three questions and sees six mentors matched to their path. They book a real time in one tap, and the mentor gets a short brief before the call. I built the product and run everything technical: * Wrote the full platform with AI assistance: Next.js, TypeScript, Postgres on Supabase, deployed on Vercel * Designed the matching algorithm, which scores mentors on shared background, goals and availability and records every match it shows so we can learn which pairings lead to a second conversation * Built passwordless sign-in, invite-only access, booking with live availability, Google Meet rooms that are created automatically, and all transactional email * Built the security and privacy work in: a full audit, rate limiting, data retention and account deletion Beyond the code: * Formed the company (NJ LLC) and handle legal and compliance with my co-founder * Researched the business model and who pays for mentorship programs * Designed the brand and the product's visual system * Running our pilot at Rutgers and Fordham
