Gallery Ventures Research
Overview
Gallery Ventures (tagline "Venture is an art", b. 2025) is a New York venture firm that describes itself as a stage-agnostic venture capital firm investing in exceptional founders building the companies that shape our world. The brand is new, but the firm is not. Gallery is the rebrand of Crossbeam Venture Partners, launched in 2020 as a joint venture between Treville Capital Group (formerly CoVenture Holding Company) and Moelis Asset Management. Treville's site calls Gallery Ventures the venture capital arm of Treville Capital Group, covering funds managed by Treville Capital Management and Crossbeam Venture Partners. The firm sits at 477 Madison Avenue, New York.
Investment Thesis
The public site states almost no thesis beyond backing exceptional founders. Earlier Crossbeam materials said it invests in Seed and Series A companies of the next-gen economy, built on new internet economies, financial services, or novel asset classes. Third-party profiles describe a focus on capital-intensive but equity-efficient businesses. A March 2026 partner announcement says the team set out to build the firm they would have wanted as founders, built around judgment, patience and enduring relationships.
Stage Focus
Stage agnostic in its own words. Historically Pre-Seed through Series A, with seed the most common stage (about 44% of deals per Goldilocks AI). The selected portfolio also shows later-stage participation (Anduril, Mercury, Cognition, Bedrock Robotics Series C), so the firm follows into growth rounds as well.
Check Size
Not disclosed. Reported round sizes for deals it joined range from $2.6M seed rounds to $90M+ rounds; the firm is usually one of several investors. No check size range is stated, so none is submitted.
Lead Tendency
Mixed. Third-party data tags some deals as lead or co-lead (Glencoco, Den, Threecolts) but many recent ones as participant (Adaptive Security, FINNY, Bedrock Robotics). Co-investors include Andreessen Horowitz, Elad Gil and K5 Global.
Recent Activity
PitchBook lists 112 investments and 12 exits, with the latest deals in Infisical (October 2026), June (August 2026), Ellis (July 2026), Judgment Labs (May 2026), Socket (April 2026) and Pillar (April 2026). Alex Yagoda joined as General Partner in March 2026. Fund status looks active. These deal dates come from PitchBook and Goldilocks AI and are not confirmed by press releases.
Portfolio Highlights
The site lists a selected portfolio of 20 companies: Adaptive Security, Anduril, Arena, Bedrock Robotics, Black Forest Labs, Cognition, EvenUp, Isara, Judgment Labs, Mercury, Physical Intelligence, Radiant, Saronic, Socket, TapTap Send, Periodic Labs, Promise Studios, Salient, Sesame and Substrate. It skews to AI, defense and autonomy, robotics, security, and fintech. The page has a "See all" control that did not expose more names in the read. Exits listed by PitchBook include Cervo AI, Gander, Salad Ventures and Gateway.

Gaps
No team page, check size, fund size, or essay content on gallery.vc (single-page site). AUM: Crossbeam AUM is $534M as of 06/30/2026 per Treville, and Gallery is described as under $1B AUM. The $534M figure is the Crossbeam venture vehicle, which Gallery has rebranded from.
