Investment Thesis
NYA Ventures is a Canadian, woman-led venture manager that invests in founders shaping a sustainable future through science and technology innovation. Its stated belief is that strong returns can be delivered alongside positive change for people and the planet. It looks for mission-driven companies with a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion, and it explicitly prioritizes underrepresented and women-led founding teams. The firm's first and only sector-focused vehicle is The51 Food and AgTech Fund (Fund I), a joint venture between The51 Ventures and CNSRV-X that NYA Ventures manages.
