Airthium is developing containerized, high-temperature industrial heat pumps for factory process heat at 100–250°C. Its patented Stirling-based system upgrades ambient or waste heat using electricity and operates alongside existing gas boilers, with an energy optimizer selecting the lower-cost heat source. The company plans to offer heat-as-a-service, allowing factories to pay per MWh without upfront equipment investment.
