HYO. A new level in the care of people with swallowing disorders. HYO is a specialized outpatient practice for dysphagia therapy and tracheostomy tube management based in Berlin. We do not see ourselves as a classic speech therapy practice, but rather as an active stakeholder in the care system. In close cooperation with clinics, discharge management, nursing facilities and treating doctors, we close the gap between inpatient treatment and further outpatient care. Our aim: to bring state-of-the-art diagnostics and therapy for dysphagia and tracheostoma to the market. To achieve this, we work with structured care processes, instrumental diagnostics and a highly specialized team that focuses exclusively on swallowing disorders and tracheostomy tube care. What drives us: Swallowing is life. Every person with dysphagia deserves care that doesn't stop at the hospital door.
