White Venture Capital Research
Investment Thesis
White Venture Capital (WVC) is a Singapore-based early-stage fund that describes its focus as "fuelling fintech and consumer tech." The site's tagline is "Let's build your powerful idea into a phenomenal business." The FAQ says the fund will predominantly invest in fintechs with interesting business models, profound technology and a capable team, targeting a segment with a huge addressable market. The stated quest is to create an environment of trust that paves the way for next-generation trailblazers.
The five things the site says it seeks: passionate entrepreneurs, interesting business models, a vision for success, innovative solutions, and a huge addressable market.
The firm also leans on an operator-investor identity. Amrish Rau is quoted saying the future belongs to operator VCs rather than finance-associate VCs, and the 2022 launch coverage described a programme to help industry executives and former founders start up.
Stage Focus
Pre-Seed to Pre-Series A, per the homepage. The portfolio page shows a Fund 1 ("Early Stage FinTech Fund 1") plus a set of pre-fund angel investments made by founder Sweta Rau, who has angel invested since 2016.
Check Size
The FAQ states a typical ticket of US$250K to US$1M, depending on the startup's fundraising needs. Revenue is not required before applying.
Lead Tendency
Not stated on the site. Press coverage shows WVC participating alongside other investors in rounds (for example ShopSe, where BeeNext and Chiratae also invested, and Enkash, led by Ascent Capital), so lead tendency is recorded as unknown.
Recent Activity
Third-party aggregators report roughly two dozen investments, with a latest investment in Ringg AI on 25 August 2026 and several new deals in the last twelve months. These are aggregator claims and were not confirmed on the firm's own site. The firm's own media page lists coverage from 2022 and 2023: the fund launch (January 2022), Data Sutram's USD 2.07M round (February 2022), Enkash's USD 20M round (April 2022), ShopSe's USD 6.1M round (May 2022), CashFlo's USD 8.7M round (September 2022) and Driffle's USD 3.4M seed (November 2022). Fund status is treated as actively deploying based on the aggregator data.
Portfolio Highlights
The portfolio page names, under Fund 1: Apata, Data Sutram, ShopSe, Driffle, Offramp.xyz, Enkash, CrediLinq.ai, Flash.co, Finsara, Hyperface, Cashflo, Zamp, Sorted, Credflow and OTPless. The pre-fund angel section shows Jugyah and a grid of other logos. Themes are payments, credit and pay-later infrastructure, B2B spend and receivables, identity, and a few consumer marketplaces (Driffle, Sorted, Jugyah). Only the companies whose logo captions legibly named them are included in the structured portfolio list; Offramp, Cashflo, Zamp, Sorted and Jugyah had unreadable image captions and were left out of the structured list even though the page text names them.

Decision Process
Partnership with advisors. The FAQ says the process takes around one month from first meeting to formal signing. Portfolio companies get direct access to the team and to mentors and advisors.
Founder Preferences
Passionate entrepreneurs with a vision for success, in particular executives and former founders from fintech. The pitch deck should cover founders and key people, product, and addressable market; unit economics are helpful but not required for the first introduction.
Geographic Focus
Based at MYP Plaza, 135 Cecil Street, Singapore. Portfolio companies are mostly India-based (Data Sutram, ShopSe, Enkash, Cashflo, Hyperface, Credflow) with Singapore and global fintech names (CrediLinq.ai, Zamp). Geography is not explicitly restricted on the site.
Fund Size
A January 2022 DealStreetAsia headline reported that Amrish Rau, Sweta Rau and Jitendra Gupta were floating a USD 40M fintech fund. The firm's own site does not state a fund size, so AUM is not set.
