Yongxin Ark Capital Research
Overview
Yongxin Ark Capital (永鑫方舟资本, also written Yongxin Capital) is a Chinese private equity and venture manager headquartered in Suzhou Industrial Park, with a second office in Pudong, Shanghai. The management company was registered on 18 May 2015 (manager registration code P1017017) and sits inside the broader Yongxin Group (永鑫集团), which also runs an enterprise services arm called Xinlian (鑫链企服). The firm says it has issued 27 private funds, manages more than RMB 5 billion (roughly USD 700M), and has invested in more than 100 technology companies. Its stated vision is to become "China's Berkshire Hathaway" and its mission is to make starting a company less hard. The site is in Chinese only.
Investment Thesis
The firm invests in hard technology: integrated circuits, new energy vehicles, AI, aerospace, and intelligent manufacturing along with their supply chains. Its portfolio map counts 40 integrated circuit companies (IC design 20, equipment 7, components 7, IC manufacturing 3, packaging and test 1, services 1), about 20 new energy vehicle companies, 13 AI companies, and 24 intelligent manufacturing companies. It describes itself as a platform fund (resource aggregation), an enablement fund (value-added services after investing), and a co-creation fund. Its stated fund strategy is a "pillar" approach: act as the ballast and stabilizer of an investment portfolio, with protection of principal as the first priority.
Stage Focus and Check Size
The site does not state stage or check size. The portfolio reads as growth and pre-IPO oriented, with 9 listed exits-in-progress and 15 companies said to be preparing listings, plus 50 national "specialized and new" (专精特新) enterprises. Individual fund sizes run from about RMB 100M to RMB 800M, so cheques are likely in the low tens of millions of RMB. Stage and cheque fields are left empty in the structured data because the firm does not publish them.

Decision Process and Lead Tendency
Decisions run through an investment team with a separate risk control function, which reviews legal diligence and deal structure on each deal. This points to a partnership or committee process. The firm runs many special-purpose vehicles per deal, which suggests it often leads or co-invests directly, but the site does not say. Lead tendency is recorded as unknown.
Geographic Focus and Founder Preferences
The firm invests in mainland China, concentrated in the Yangtze River Delta (Suzhou, Shanghai, Wuxi). It favors technical founders in import-substitution hard technology and offers alumni networks, industry associations, chambers of commerce, and professional service partners as enablement. Founders can send business plans to [email protected]. Phone: 0512-89885889.
Gaps
The website gives no stage, cheque size, or round-level data, and portfolio entries have no investment dates. Most portfolio domains were taken from the links on the portfolio page; some company names have no link and carry no domain. The portfolio page's image captions were largely repeats of a single name, so company names came from the page text.
